Well I finally got myself a YJ. Traded my 98 mustang gt for it. Was so tired of being low to the ground and out of site of bigger vehicles that would drive right into my lane lol.

Its a 1993 with a 2.5L. Fun to drive. It has some things done to it but I dont know what exactly has been done. Its lifted, big tires, lights everywhere, cb radio, rhino type lining in the interior, perfect tops, and a blast to drive.

All I really want to do to it now is improve the sound system. The head unit in there is pretty much garbage and the speakers are blown. From the little bit of reading I have done, the speakers in the dash up from are a pain to remove and people say they take the whole windshield off???

Anyways glad to be part of the community :D

Just acquired a 1995 Wrangler, Rio Grande edition I believe. Needs a fair amount of work to make sure we will be safe on the road but nothing terribly drastic.

Anyway, I have a couple of questions I can save for the appropriate forum categories. Just excited to travel the country in my new little Jeep!

Hello everyone.
Just joined the WF, and took a look around, and love it. Can't wait to learn about wranglers.
I have my sights set on getting a Wrangler within a year (just gotta save up some money).
The whole reason I want one is to go off roading and get muddy!
So....with that said, I don't want to get a new jeep, but I don't want to buy a hunk o' junk. Lol.
My current car is a 1998 Acura Integra RS, that I Autocross.

I have pretty much NO idea about wranglers, or where to start, or what to look or well....ANYTHING. So Im gonna need lots of help, and I can't wait to start learning, and I figured this was the right place to start.

Thanks guys. :)

Hello everyone, my name is scott, I just recentley picked up a 2009 jeep wrangler unlimited, I love it! but what I wasnt so crazy about were the headlights, they just seemed a little dim, so I picked up a 55 watt ddm hid kit with the harness. When I first plugged them in they looked awsome, but after a few minutes they started the flickering thing, I have done some research and have narrowed it down to disabling the daytime running lights, the only thing Im having trouble with is locating the relay switch in order to do so. Can someone tell me where this would be and even better if this will fix my problem?

Thanks a bunch

Im looking forward to learning a little more about my jeep

Scott :wavey:

Maybe she will last another 14 years before needing rebuild. Jeeps truly RULE!! JEEP ON!!!!!!:punk:

Picked up my first jeep about a month ago. Really enjoying it so far. It's a '95, 4cyl with 128K miles. I've changed all the fluids, serpentine belt, flushed radiator, new plugs/wires. Other than the usual, does anyone have any other advice to make this little beast more "road worthy". Found out the parking brake was under 2002 recall yesterday. Local dealer's putting in a new assembly for free next week. Any special "quirks" for this model that I should know about? Thanks.

One more question...as a Harley guy too, which came first...the Jeep wave, or the biker wave?!?
