Hi all, I am new here and have some questions I hope you can help me out with. I just bought a new 2010 Wrangler, 2-door, Mountain.

Hi all, I am new here and have some questions I hope you can help me out with. I just bought a new 2010 Wrangler, 2-door, Mountain. I'm not new to Jeeps but I am new to Wrangler's. I owned a Cherokee for 10 years and then went on the "Dark Side" and drove an X-Terra for 8 years. I have always wanted a Wrangler but could not because of kids and family and all that. Well, now the kids are gone and I have my Wrangler!
First I'd like to know if I have a JK, CJ, or what. I don't know the difference. Next, I'd like to know what's up with the license plate holder!? I bought a Jeep chrome plate holder and I know the plate gets tucked in on the right and is held in place on the left with a screw on the top. OK, my plate is secure but my chrome holder is swingin' in the wind on the right side. Anyone know what's up with this?
I also need some advice on towing. I'm going to be towing my Jeep behind my RV and need to hook up a break-away switch with a wire that goes to the driver's side floor to hook to my aux. break. The break-away switch gets mounted on the front bumper and runs back and thru the firewall and then on to the floor. Does anyone know how to get thru the firewall without drilling a hole? There is a rubber grommett on the firewall under the hood, upper driver's side, but I don't know if it leads to the inside of the car. I would really appreciate some help on this one because there really is no room to drill a hole under the hood without removing the engine! LOL!
If anyone can give me some guidence I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance, Michael, the new guy here.

I'd like to share a website that has proven quite helpful to me by giving me insite into how dealerships work, what to watch for, and how to negotiate most effectively.

CarBuyingTips.com new car buying guide, avoiding dealer scams, new cars, used car buying

Its a free site. Kinda lengthy. But very educational.

If you read through it, you'll probably save several hundred dollars. If you break that down accross the time it takes you to do the reading....the pay-off is pretty sweet.

I hope yall find it helpful.

This really bums me out because I only know of one other place that I can ride trails, an its an old mining area, alot of people have died there on ATV MX accidents, and its definitely not legal to ride there, but is never patroled... But still Id just love it if there was somewhere around here for me to ride. I need to look into some legal trails/gameland or park areas. I live in 15521 PA.

It works great for chafing on rocks or what ever. :)
