NV3550 swap

I what to put in a NV3550 in my 85 CJ-7 and i know i need a bellhousing adapter but i know the NV3550 has the same circular 6 bolt, 23 spline flush stickout, transfer case bolt pattern as my T5 tranny does or at least from what i read it does. So my question is do i need a advanced adapers rotation kit to put the Dana 300 behind the NV3550 transmission? any help would be appreciated.
