Under coating

What is the best undercoating for the frame and underbody?
I would like to undercoat my rig and I would like to know what is the easiest brand to use and best for my money. Thanks

Id suggest havin it sprayed with rhino liner. Or if you want to do it yourself buy some Herculiner. That would be an extremely durable undercoating!

That Rhino liner, can it be done in house or do you have to take it to a shop to be done. If you can do it in house, is it an easy task or hard to do?

Rhino liner is only done through dealers as far as I know. Herculiner, Duraback and others like that are something that you can do yourself. It does take a while and stinks. I rolled mine on my truck bed but I hear that spraying is a better way of doing it.

Herculiner can be done fairly easily as long as you do the prep work well enough. Here is a link to someone describing how they used it on the interior tub of their jeep.

Obviously this would be different from using it as an undercoat, but it should give you an idea of what to expect.

hmm i thought there used to some other stuff that would bound with the metal and rust so it automatically bounds and makes rust already on the body harmless.
