you gotta have brakes

It's pretty quit here, so here is the latest at my house:

Frank is coming home & we are to leave immediatly for a cruise night. I'm planning ahead and want to have everything ready, which means a quick rinse to get the pollen off the CJ. I need to move it back in the driveway to reach the hose, no problem, the driveway is slanted toward the street, I push in the clutch and start rolling slowly backward...get where I want to be and push the brake pedal....all the way to the floor

During my 2 seconds of panic, I'm thinking about the car in the driveway behind me, across the street. I'm wondering if I can turn this beast quick enough to get in into the street safely.

Sanity returned and I let out the clutch....thankgoodness it was in gear!

Frank took a few extra minutes to check it out before we left for the evening. Seems the linkage that goes to the break pedal had become dislodged. I'm just ever so glad it happened in the driveway and not on the highway.

If you have to ask what it is or what it does, you don't need it, and you will need help to install it!
