Are there any jeep clubs in anchorage ?

I keep seeing that there are jeep clubs all over the lower 48. But i havent seen or heard of any in alaska. Just wondering if anyone knows of one ?

I haven't seen any Jeep specific clubs, only general 4x4 clubs which are mostly made up of crappy old toyotas or ford rangers and some full size blazers etc.

I figured there would be several clubs/groups here in alaska since there are so many jeeps and a lot are wranglers. If i do start one i have no idea how to go about it. Lol

I looked online and didn't find much of any thing. As far as anchorage. It seems like a lot of work. Just for a bunch of people to hang out and go riding. That and in the summer i fish constantly.

Yea we wheel but not many show up. We have a small group that do wheeling and camping trips. Im not into clubs. always some ass thinking he has the authority to tell you what you're going to do. I don't need it.

Same here. Several fellow jeepers fish alot so we are always inviting other jeepers to join us fishing. But not many show up.

We don't really have to have a club with dues or any authority... Maybe just a couple of get togethers, some build days and such... I used to be part of the Subaru scene and we would do those kinds of things. I'm not opposing rocking a "907 Jeepers" or heck they have rideak, we could have wheelak! Or even WF907 what ever works

There is far north jeepers. Its a loosely based club where people meet and some fish together
