Heading to Wainwright from Southern California

I will be heading to Wainwright in a year. I dont really know what to expect, but I am excited to be bringing the Jeep up there. What stuff should I be looking at to purchase. I currently live in Southern California.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

How are you liking it up that way so far? I'm heading up there at the end of the year and would like to see how the offroad scene is up there.

There is a great off road scene up there. Once you get there look up the guys of Arctic Off-road. They are a great bunch of guys that love to go out wheeling no matter what season. Lol

Jeremy,
There are a couple of Facebook groups that are Jeep focused around Anchorage. There is usually a run about every weekend. Shoot me a PM and I'll point you in the right direction. If you are here for New Year's Eve, we do an annual run out to one of the glaciers. It's a lot easier to get to during the winter when everything is frozen.
