Moving North

Hey Ya'll I am moving from Seattle to Anchorage in January and was wondering if any one here had some advice. Like is it worth picking up a set of studs?

Any advice on the trip up, ferry vs ship and fly?

That sort of stuff, cheers.

Pack your long underwear. And I'd put the top and doors back on before you get there.

Thanks, I am currently on the hunt for a hard top. I don't quite think my soft top will be enough

There several sellers on eBay that regularly sell hard tops. One is out of IL, yeah it's a drive but better priced than some if these yahoo's want! CL is good too. Honestly the biggest issue with soft top in AK would be the windows otherwise from a heat standpoint you could use a wind jammer to keep heat in cabin.
