alright folks, first I would like to say thank you, gotten some great info from the forum. I'm driving a 2000 Cherokee Classic. Over the last 500 miles I've had two instances where my check engine light came on and started flashing, there has been almost a complete loss of power and the engine has started running rough. I can smell exhaust occasionally and I think I can hear some rattling in the catalytic converter so my diagnosis (I'm no mechanic) is its time to replace the thing. If anybody has any other ideas what the problem could be please let me know. Moving on, I ordered a direct fit converter. My jeep has the California emissions package and there is no downstream 02 sensor. What should I plug the bung hole In the new converter with?
