another quadratec rant

ive seen different threads about quadratec but u thought i would tell you guys this. i ordered the flashlight holder for the roll bar and they accidently sent me a 2 way radio holder instead. when i called the 1-800 number the guy said that it wasn't worth it to ship it back so he said for me to keep it and there going to send me the flashlight holder for free. thats really cool of them and thought you guys should know.

that's good to hear. i thought that it was a complaint that you had. i don't think i've ever really heard any complaints about their company or their customer service. glad to hear that there still are companies out there that value their customers.

I have one. On 4/6, ordered a rear cargo liner. They told me it'd be in stock to ship in a week. No big deal. 4/13, checked online. B/O. Ok. Called- "another week." Ok. 4/20. Online status- B/O. Called- guess what? "Another week!" 4/27. Called- "another week or so." Shocking...
Called this past Monday- "another 2-4 weeks." Went off on the guy when he offered excuses. That's just bad business. They lost me as a customer. There are a couple other folks I know who've had this kind of thing happen. I understand wanting to give people a smiley face, happy answer, but don't outright lie. I can understand a slight delay, but up to 2 months? TELL ME BEFOREHAND! Don't tell me a week.

when i ordered my wheels they stuffed a TON of catalogs with them (mostly for padding) but i must've had a stack of 20 or so...

as fate would have it, i had to drive up there to get some parts ASAP.. So i gave them back to them :-)
