reading about people using sway bar disconnect rather than front lockers. Unless there is extreme articulation required it seems like the locker would be a better choice or is the disconnect preferred in order to maintain better turning radius on the font axles??
Those two things are not directly related, although they both help off-road. The lockers make sure both wheels spin at the same rate, disconnecting the sway bar allows the axle to travel down farther. Keeping it on the ground longer than if the sway bar was connected.
my first two big mods were suspension with quick disconnects and a locker (rear).. every time i go offroad i disconnect and make use of the extra articulation.. Rarely do I need/use my locker.
