Great right up! Thanks for posting that. I'm just getting ready to do the inside of my Suburban. I have seen guys put it on lower rocker panels. If you do a search under herculiner, there is a guy that did his entire Suburban in herculiner Red, yest the whole thing I'm talking exterior.

I had a 94 4 Runner that I put it on the rear tailgate. I had it professionally done... Would not do that again. That hurt the wallet. I did have my receicer hitch spayed. It looks great and has held up well. Just don't put any on teh flange where it meet the frame rails.

What have people heard about keeping some sort of UV protectant on the herculiner? I used to keep the tailgate wiped down with Armorall or 303.

Default just completed mine

I just finished Herculining my '91 YJ and am glad to have it behind me. Overall it took me about 8-9 hours. The most time was spent repairing broken seat post bolts. I had to cut away and drill through 3 of them (ouch!). Actual Herculine time was probably about 4-5 hours. My second coat was very thick and I used every bit of the gallon that came in the kit. I also did the rails along the side and door ways. I think this added some time, but looks good and will help with the seal of my hard top and doors come winter. One suggestion that I can add to this project is to run a light over everything after your last coat. This will show you some spots that need a little more.

I rolled up some masking tape and twisted it in the holes. Just don't let is sit a long time after herculing so it will be easy to get out...
