Ok, I made a thread about giving away some Jeep parts but it seems to have vanished. As well as my post count says I have zero. Now I know it existed because it had a few views. What happened to it? I REALLY do not fee like typing that up again and attaching pics.

There are a few requirements to post in the classified section. I suggest reading the stickies in that section to find your answer.

JP90talon: Thanks I appreciate the answer and pointing me in the right direction. I have been a part of many auto forums and usually its no big deal posting items your giving away in a local venue (posted it in here not the classified section). Oh well, It was a pain in the a$$ posting links to all the items I had. In the trash they go I guess.
Kaycee83: You are just an idiot. Another person that has nothing relevant to say but feels they need to get their post count up. Try contributing something useful next time. |

Ehem... Excuse me.
I agree that Kaycee hijacked your thread but there is no reason to call her or anyone else here an idiot in the open forum. Capiche? Now, I think you owe her an apology! And yes, your threads (x2) were deleted due to a violation of forum policy. These threads were identified as "Classified" ads and even though the parts were listed as free, they still met the criteria and needed to be deleted. You need to acquire 15 posts in order to place a classified ad. Post padding will not be tolerated. Once you have 15 posts, please post the parts up in the appropriate forum. The rules for classified ads are listed here and here and here and here. As you can see there has been much talk about classified usage and lot's of regulations laid out. Why? Because of the same reason there is a great big sticker on the Hair Dryer that says: DO NOT use in shower... People can't seem to use common sense or follow the rules. This fiasco we call the "Classified" Forum has become a thorn in the side of Moderators and Administrators alike. Forum rules are just like the law. Ignorance is no excuse.

First off dude. Your name is shawshank when I said 5x5 equals 25, cats on trees and shit. I was referring to a very funny part of the movie Shawshank Redemption. Which I assumed you seen bc of your name. Secondly I'll post whatever I want, where I want, when I want, for as many posts counts as I want. Last and most importantly
You've just been owned. Now go retype your classified add and keep my name out of your mouth!Cain= Thank You! I truly was not trying to hijack his thread. I dont know if you have seen that movie before or not, but like I said above I assumed he had seen it because of his name and he could take a joke. I'm sure what I said was out of line, but I think it was well deserved. Thanks again!

I made a joke that was out of context, but I caught it and said so,I use this philosophy,I won't type anything in this forum that I would not say to anyone personally. If I offend someone, then I feel like crap because I care about people and how they view me as a person. This is a family of jeep owners. Our family.

I'm not really sure who your referring to? But what I said def wasn't out of context, atleast I don't think this dude just can't take a joke. Whati said back may have been, but I'm not going to let someone call me an idiot. Oh well, but yea I def understand what your saying.

Okay, I'm going to swoop in here to reiterate what Cain said. Personal attacks are neither tolerated nor welcome here. We do a lot of playing around WF, so off the wall comments are allowed, considering many of us know each other personally, both on and off line. Those who are new need to remember they've stepped into a room full of buddies. It takes time to learn the nuances of a forum, so best not to get panties twisted over remarks.
And, once a mod has taken control of the situation, do not fan the flames. This goes for everyone.
