Another "need a local shop" thread

Hey. Looked through enough threads to want to chuck my phone out the window.

Here's my problem- I had a case of DW when I first lifted my jeep. Adjusted a few minor things and boom it was gone. Recently I started to notice a slight shimmy in the front end (tires) when I hit 40-45 MPH. This shimmy feels like a very relaxed version of DW. It seems like it wants to start but doesn't. I've been under it, tightened, loosened, re tightened everything and it's still there. Tires have good pressure, rotated, and a recent alignment. Still there.

I want to take it to a shop and have them look at it and install some adj control arms while they're at it. I need a good shop with a history with jeeps and hopefully some knowledge of what DW is and how to solve it (other than put a stabilizer on it).

If anyone knows a good shop please chime in. I live in Chicago (downtown) but work in Romeoville, so there's flexibility. That got longwinded. Thanks

All the dude wanted was his rug back.

I'm just a big, hairy, American winnin' machine!

On North ave, half mile west of 83 on the south side of street. Right next to Strats. A completely honest dude, which is a rarity nowadays. He's built some serious 4x4's, custom fabrication, skilled in suspension & steering. Good luck!
