Hi Neighbor,
I'm in the same area. I have a '97 TJ Sport that is having issues, but I want to take it to the U.P. in August. Have you ever had need to take your Jeep in, if so can you recommend a place that specializes in Wranglers?
Thanks,
Morgan

So far, have not needed anything but maintenance. My experience so far has been with dealers. Naperville treated me like a schmuck, Feeny in Elgin treated me well.

Btw, some easily accessible fire/logging roads on bay de noc in the UP. I was on them last year. Wild blueberries too

A lot of us live in the same are.

BTW, between traffic on Route 59, and the new bridge over the tracks being built on Odgen/34, traffic now officially SUCKS!

The jeep lets me drive in the median and construction on 59. I mounted an orange igloo cooler on the back and just wave at the construction guys

welcome and wavey! What kind? Full soft top, shade, bikini? I have a hard top ANC run a bikini most of the summer, cheaper than an actual hard top, lots of folks swear by spider shades...

I agree. I have a home made pulley system for the hard top and a smittybilt bikini. I rarely have my hard top on.

. This, it only covers the 2 or 4 seats, if you have JK or JKU. Try quadratec and Morris 4x4, they have lots of tops. They have some reps on here who might help too! The discount tire rep on this board helped me out when I needed new shoes!

First Mud

Picked up my new JKUR last week. Turned down a dirt road on Saturday with the kids and they got the first taste of a little off road. They were thrilled. I told them I would take them to the trails this weekend.

Headed to Cliffs on Sun 7/20 for an easy trail with the kids.
