There are lots of trails that you will be fine. Some are narrow if you don't mind tree branches scratching the side.

This makes me happy I just got an 87 stock and wanted to go up there with my friend. I'm fairly new to 4wd though and it's manual transmission. I am not new to manual transmission, but never used offroad. Would I embarrass myself?? Lol I really wanna go

Badlands

Go stock. The place is so freaking huge there is plenty to do there. When I first went I felt the same way but you will be suprised what the stock jeep could do. Nobody judges you there and people will always help you out. (not to mention that you will end up running circles around some modified rigs as long as you dont mind a little bump and bruise here and there. Anyway let me know when you are going to go, I am looking for someone to go with as I just baught a YJ. I used to have an XJ that I used at Badlands.

good to know, guys. Mine is mostly stock, so I was wondering the same thing in regards the the BLs. I've never done any serious "arena" type wheeling (just some impromptu bushwhacking and two-track mudding) so it's nice to know there's places like that where no one is shunning the newbs
