Good to go with a group that know their way around. Just need to follow and go where they go. My 4th time and we should have a good mix of experience, especially if Wingit makes it. Check out the end of the 3/8 and 3/21 threads for some recent pics.
Pretty much! I had my 265/75R16 (31.6x10.4R16) BFG ATs on when we went on 3/21, it would be nice to do a before and after with the 33x12.5R17s around the same time frame.
I'll go check out those pictures. I'm guessing you all were heading south on 355 about 9:00 on the 21st. I was on my way to work heading north and I saw a bunch of Jeeps going the other way. Will everyone be meeting somewhere and then heading down or just meet there?
I might be in as well. I am still 100% stock and have been to cliffs once. It was a little dicey in spots and I was a newbie alone. Bad idea!! It would be fun going with a group that could help us rookies out!
My younger daughter is 3 and I bring her. Although she's still on the fence whether she likes it. I'm hoping my new tires will fix the "it's too bumpy" complaint... PS, I will be hunting Easter eggs in Southern Illinois on Saturday but am planning a trip to the Cliffs on 4/11. Hope to see some of you then.
I took my grandson when he was 2. Now he keeps asking when am I going to get the Jeep muddy! He still loves riding in it. He won't let anyone help him get in. He want to climb in himself.
