Hello again, Illinois. The Camaro that I had for sale is on its way out the door (collected a deposit from the buyer). I am now shopping for a 2003+ Rubi Auto in orange.

Question: If I buy a TJ with both tops, would someone here be interested in buying the hard top? If so, at what fair price? I need to determine the end value of one that I am looking at, less the hard top.

just find one without the hardtop what you pay for it and then sell it will never be the same. Just save the money on the extra top and put that into other areas of mods for the new truck. Get the 4.0l too I have a 2.5 and well not the happiest with it but gets the job done.

Thanks - understood. It all comes down to how low the dealer will go. I have an appointment tomorrow, tentatively.

I am a big engine fan, so 4.0 is a must. My truck is 5.7L and the car I am selling, tonight hopefully, is 5.7L. 4.0 will seem little.

The Rubi only comes with the 4.0 engine and I think that the Orange color came out in either 04 or 05, if I remember correctly.

Electric Lime & Inca Gold were the special colors for 03 Rubis

My name is Greg. Just stumbled on this forum. Hopefully I can get some advice from folks here. New (2 yrs) to this Jeepin thing. Have a 95 daily driver. Small mods. Ok on the trail. Maybe someday do some more to it, butin the mean time, just sitting back and watching. Love my Jeep

No Badlands for me. I do not own a trailer. And I don't think I would enjoy driving that thing on a four hour trip. Its bad enough driving it to the Cliffs, and wondering after a day of hammering it through mud holes whether or not its going to make it back home

yepper. thats my 3rd xj, and my wife's last vehicle was a liberty. she traded it for a caravan, so she could cart our kids, and their friends if she wanted to. now she wants a yj to instead.

Gaver's is like 10 min from my house i had never heard of it till a week ago when my sister told me about it. Strangely i was talking to a teacher today (he is a jeeper ) and he said he would go back in there with his CJ like 15 years ago when he was in HS

Hey Chad, my kid was looking over my shoulder and said to say hi. (Bruno) He's totally rebuilt his jeep. 35 km2's, air lockers, superior axles, c-clip eliminators, rock crawler 5 1/2 inch lift, 4.11 gears, rockman skid plates, rock crawler steering kit, rock rails....

It's pretty cool, I am trying to get him to trade rides with me for a day or two.

He was out in the cliffs a few weeks back and spent the day winching folks out of Carnage after he made it through without getting stuck...then he spent another week demudding!

Chi-town, we're near Elgin...my boys have been going to the Cliffs out in Marsailles. It's not a bad drive and looks to be a blast.
There's a jeep club out of Batavia, Terra Jeep Club, you might want to check them out.
