Hey im from lasalle, il which is like 30 miles from the Cliffs, i have never been to the cliffs, my rig is not ready for the cliffs, i have to replace my front axle hopfully soon. But my brother has a 4x4 dakota and is eager to go to the cliffs, only problem is this is his first 4x4 and he is a wicked driver but lacks expierence off road. His version of offroading is cuttin donuts in a muddy field. If anyone is willing id be happy to go on a ride along with someone. Just to get a feel for the place. I have had many 4x4s and i have played in fields, but i also enjoy working my way trough woods and over obstacles.

you'll do fine that's how my jeep was the first few times I went there. Now I'm locked front and rear with 4.88's so I'm starting to go down some of the tough trails when I go.

I am new also. I would not mind riding along/ doing some beginner trails if that is ok.

You are meeting at the truck stop on I80/Rt 71?

I'm thinking of going the 10th if anyone is interested. I would consider my abilities to be more on the mild side. I also have never been to the cliffs, just the badlands.

Just the green and blue trails, those are supposed to be easier ones. I still got stuck in a mud hole!
