just a bit of an up date from Barrington..... my TJ2a now has a winch, and 33" TSL's, I'l post a pic soon, but I found some 200+ arces out by rockford from a friend. but there always is the fountains in Chrystal lake, I wouldn't recommend the fountains($350.00 fine), but rockford is legal.

Man! You're all over the place! Do you keep spare parts for your Jeep at all of those locations too?

Hey Helmut,I'm from Tinley Park too! If anyone's planning on going to the Cliffs anytime soon I really wanna go. Never off roaded in my life. Just bought my stock TJ in November. I replaced the front and rear bumpers, added some side rockers, and slapped on some new wheels. Shouldve went the lift route first...I'll post a pic later 2nite

anyone know some trail/s that you don't have to pay for and are legal? I'm just looking to drive off pavement and get it in 4 wheel drive for once.

well I have heard of a few in New Lenox, Mokena area.. as far as how legal and their exact location, I don't know. From what I was told, and I consider this to be very loose conversation, they are on private land that I would assume is a mixture of corn fields and forresty areas. I'm trying to find out more information on these area 51-like places! But once I find out I'll be sure to tell the world!!

I'm looking for one for my GF. Something that runs and can be reliable. I know that's a lot to ask of a $1000 car, but she wants a jeep and that's about all she can afford at the moment.

I just saw this lol. When I get to mom's house in Mendota the YJ starts to smell a bit hot lol... The rear main seal leaks so it smells like oil...most of the time lol. I'll get it running good...eventually lol

I found a decent CJ for 1500 Jeep CJ5 Silver Ann. Edition
A Jeep for 1000 is kinda tough to come by. If you got stuff to trade that would help out too.
