Any tips for fuel economy on a tj?

I try to keep the RPMs low, usually around 2000 RPM when I'm on the road. It seems to help, but not much unfortunately. I have a 4.0 so it guzzles gas. I have noticed that topless I get better mileage though.

At best you will average at 14Lt/100Km. To maximse your fuel economy: Keep the engine tuned; Keep your tyres pumped up at the correct pressure and Drive smoothly.
