how high is to high

I have a 2010 4 door want to go 6 inch lift been told 2 inch was dangerous to drive. That was from a suspension shop. Any suggestions

There is really no need to go over 3.5" - 4", unless you're dead set on running 52" tires. Until just recently I was running 35x12.5x15 tires on a 3/4" spacer lift w/ some fender modifications. Some comapnies make fenders that allow 37" tires to be run on the stock suspension. Yeah, bigger tires are always better but if you could let us know what you want to do there are probably 14 different ways to get there.
