1972 cj5

Specs:
Engine: Chevy 350 (600 HP)
Trans: Borg Warner T10
Transfer Case: Dana 300
Front Diff: Dana 20
Rear Diff: Dana 60

the owner used to off rod it, but since the complete rebuild, he drag races it. it does a 9.5 second quarter mile. he could get a better time, but he can't control it because of the short wheelbase. he also plans on adding nitrous.

i thought it was a beautifully rebuilt cj. i am not really into drag racing jeeps, but this one was pretty awesome. apparently though, after he left the parking lot he hit it in second gear and did a wheelie .

It's too fast to control, so he's adding nitrous.
Sounds absolutely perfectly sane to me!

Drum brakes still?

I have too much to live for to ever drive something like that.
But you are right, it's a nicely done Jeep.

Kinda like the fuel altereds back in the day. Any run you walked away from was a good run.
