4x4's and jeeps at car show.

Here are a few pictures from a car show I stumbled upon today cruising around with the family. Pic's aren't great all I had was my cell phone. Didn't know about the show.

Was nice 300 plus vehicles. Didn't even know there was a show going on. It covered 30 city blocks.

I did some growing up on a farm in NY State in the early '60s. Back then all we had available to us was some leftover horse-drawn equipment to do any real work with. We got a 1-ton Jeep FC-170 pickup and used it to draw the horse-drawn stuff with...mower, hay rake, etc. Ours was kind of a pewter color, but I found this old ad and it looked just like this:


Learned to drive on this truck!

Ummm don't remember the name of it off the top of my head. but it says it on the windshield.

something like plitsbauer or something like that.
