Attn: Black on Black on Black Jeeps

Please post a pic of your rig!

My Jeep's below, and I'm wheel shopping. Trying to decide if there's too much black, or if I need something else to contrast in the wheel department.

My Jeep which I'm adding an OME 2 1/2" lift and plan on running either 31's or 32's.

Rate these 4 wheels from best to worst and/or suggest another for my Jeep.
Cragar D's

Cragar Streetlocks

US Wheels

or Procomps

Thanks for your help and opinions!!! Please post a pic of your triple black Jeep!

I think the black on black is the best look for a jeep personally. Mine's gray with black rims but sometimes I wish it was black. I think the black wheels look good on any color jeep really. It makes them look more like an offroad machine in my opinion.
I think the cragar streetlocks and D's would look the best. I've got black American Racing wheels but they're starting to rust so I'm thinking about switching to one of those. Good luck, I'd like to see pics when you get the new wheels on.

Yes, it definitely helps. I'm thinking RWL's, or at least outlines are going to be something to look for me to look for as well.

Talon, do you have a head on pic of your Jeep and do you know what BS and wheel size you're running?

Hey MoA, Howz that netting around the rear working out for you? Do you use it to contain your dog? I've got a hyper Lab that goes nuts when he sees other dogs walking around...I'm afraid he's going to jump out of the back seat. Will that contain him pretty well? Thanks!!

Unfortunatly this is the closest I have to a head on shot.

To be honest I am not sure on the BS or size of the rims. They came with the jeep when I bought it but I just replaced the tires and they are 32x11.5x15 bfgs and thats with a stock suspension.

Dude, that looks hot....I've got a stock 2002 sport with 31x10.5's....I thought that was as big as I could go, stock????
I'm new to the Jeep Thing so I really don't know much about them yet other than my last 2 months of ownership, and so far.....I love it.

Those are some pretty nice pics guys! I love the black on black look. I just put my soft top on and I bought tinted windows to replace the scratched clear ones. I eventually want to tint the windows on the doors and my hard top.
I also plan on replacing the bumpers etc.etc.etc.etc.

I do know I want to figure out what to do about the plastic fender trim. I am sick of putting back to black on them to keep them from looking faded.

Paint to match should have come with all editions, painting mine is not an option because it will never match. Unless of course I talk to dear old Dad, he has been painting cars for over 50 years so I bet he can do it.

Hey Joe, I painted my fender flares (see first pic, my Jeep's a 99) using a paint designed for plastic textured bumpers. Picked it up at Autozone/Pepboys, etc.

Also, I love your avatar. Since this is my thread, I'll hijack it and show you a pic of why my username is 05GT-O.C.D.

Thanks 05GT, I will keep that in mind and check out Autozone and I have always had a soft spot for the Mustang it is my dream car. That is one beautiful machine and in great shape for an 05! Also to be clear and not to mislead anyone I found this pic on the web, I wish but it is not my Mustang...someday Your Jeep is sharp, and also looks great for the year, I though it was newer. I guess it does not matter if the paint matches as long as it looks good.
