Bought my SON a JEEP!

Well as ya'll know I've been looking for a family rig since we are having a second kido. Picked this up 2 days ago. 2004 grand cherokee "WJ" special edition. 32k on the clock. And with EVERY option you can think of. Hell it even has tire pressure monitors. Really it does.

Anyway here's the new toy......

I'm glad we got this before the baby comes by the 25th and before I deploy for another YEAR! Should be a great vehicle for the family.

very nice grocery getter. i hate tire pressure monitors. i see more probs with them than help they do. they are problematic, going off when the tires are fine, they are mandatory now on all new vehicles, and everyone has started ignoring them instead of going back to the dealer 10 times.

but i like that body style, i wouldn't even touch the 2005 and up, its all daimler and they didn't do any good for them.

Yeah we didn't like the newer cherokee's either. I can turn the tire monitor on and off so I don't think it'll be a big issue with me.

There wont be to many mods with this one. ok...well anytime soon.

It suit's it's purpose the way it is for a family vehicle. The only thing I'm looking to get for it is some seat covers to protect the leather seats from the kids.

Only company I've found that makes seat covers for the rear seat (60/40 split and the bottom folds forward too so it is four pieces) is Wet Okie. And just the cover for the back seat is $320.

Does anyone know of any other company that makes a REAR seat cover for the WJ? Looking to save some money.

Now now there cupcake...that chevy's been about a 10yr toy of mine. And it's alot bigger than you think. But I'll gladly sell it to you.

I have two fullsizes back home on the farm too. They're just old farm truck though.

But thanks ya'll for the complements. I really needed something for the wife and kids that I wouldn't have to worry about all next year when I'm gone. I hope it's a good investment.
