I am not sure that is a CJ? Unless it has been modified or I am losing it. Cool looking truck though.

^ its a CJ-10A... The CJ-10 was a CJ-based pickup truck. Produced from 1981 through 1985, it was sold mainly as an export vehicle, though some were used by the United States Air Force for use as an aircraft pulling vehicle. They featured square headlights like the Jeep Wrangler YJ and an unusual 9-slot grille.

Here is my 1981 CJ8. It now has D44's front and rear, Chevy 350, 700r4 trans, D300, 4.10's, 35's, stainless tank, galvanized frame and just about everything new.

Here it is when I got it:

Here it is during the build up:

And a few of it now:

Thanks for all the compliments. It was alot of fun building. You can check out more pics of the build up at:

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/674550

Now, On to more CJ pictures. How about a picture of my latest find. I don't have it yet but it is on the way. moving halfway across the country. 1 of about 2100. It was a production vehicle. It was owned by our Airforce as a tug. Pull weight of 45,000 lbs. It has a D70 rear and a Dead front D44. It has an SD33 Nissan Diesel for an engine. I shold get about 35-40 MPG's with it and will running on Bio-diesel.

And here is what i hope it will look like when I finish sometime next year.

So, who want to vote in? Am I nutz?

Yeah the production vehicle like the silver civilian above was sold in Australia. They removed the 10 slot like the Military version had but left the Squares on for more lighting.
