Dual Color Savvy Rock Sliders

I'm looking for two color setups, I saw a few photos of clearcoated aluminum bases with black painted sliders and it looked awesome, I can't find the photos again

I plan on doing my bases in px8 base clear to match the Jeep and the tube slider in satin black I'll post pictures up when done. I'll be doing this this coming weekend as long as sliders show up this week.

I'm having a hard time deciding if I should but gaskets to put underneath them or not... Decisions decisions I'm bedlining under them so that may be enough.

Savvy said the sliders are made so precise that gaskets aren't needed, I still feel like micro grit could get between the base and tub and eventually rub and damage the paint

I agree with you and I live here in the salt belt maybe I'll just take them off once a year and spray behind them. I'm trying to also find some info on how to trim the flares to sit flush if you trim the back out your gonna loose a mounting hole.
