Found me a little bit of mud

Well had the day off yesterday so decided to go out and take the jeep on her virgin mud romping trip. Of course I went out in full jeep glory with no top and no doors. Did get pretty stuck once, the mud was incredible slick/soupy/sticky/gross lol but after about an hour of using sticks/branches/and some room mates pushing on it we got it out and continued on our adventures. I must say I love driving this thing, so much fun!!!

I guess now the fun starts with cleaning this thing out, fortunately the interior is rhino lined, but it is still going to be a giant project. lol...but totally worth it

I like the fact that you were wearing your seat belt the whole time.

Wow. Good PSA. I'll remember this post next time I'm tempted to run mud without doors on. In fact I think full top, doors, windows up and AC on might be best!

Actually I think your problem was the BFG ATs. They suck in mud. Mud terrain tires always throw the mud AWAY from the interior.

haha thanks guys. It was definitely alot of fun, and even though i will probably spend 10hrs or so cleaning it up, i think it is still worth it. And no its not my DD, well not always, I alternate driving the jeep and my cobra, depending on my mood.

Seat belts are a necessity when hitting ruts/bumps and you have no doors I feel. lol. I feel a few times I would have left the vehicle in a vertical manner had I not had a seat belt. lol.

Hahaha that's awesome! Looks like a blast.

Sheesh I remember what a pain it was to clean mud off the inside when I rolled my window down and went through a hole backwards. you did it with both doors off LMAO!

Even if you never wheel it again, you'll be finding mud for the next year

I'm jealous

haha, yeah I have started cleaning it up, and its going well, But I will for sure be finding mud for some time, but another couple hours and I should have the interior all finished up. Have about 3hrs into it so far and the inside just looks like it has a heavy dirt/dust coating on it. Drain plugs + rhino lined interior is making this job a whole lot easier. The dash is just going to take a while though since I can't spray that off like the rest of it. lol.
