Damn, when you do it, you do it right. That first one is such a clean break, it looks like it was cut. Did these happen at the same time?

Thanks for sharing the picutres.

Driver side broke first was able to make it past a few more obsticles and then I heard that fimiliar sound when the passenger side broke. I had to winch up the last two waterfalls. But all in all it was a great day.

Good Pics Silvergoat, specially the one with the front wheels in the air.
My wife is flying to Utah in april so I told her to bring all the maps and info that are available for Moab!!.
I really want to go there!!!
Maybe next year after a few upgrades to my rig.

Hey Goat, those are great pics bro. I went ahead and created a brand new thread in here for you with them.

Are you running Chromo's? From the one it looks like a stock shaft twisted, but the other looks like a chromo break.

Great Pictures! Thanks for sharing, gives me incentive to get the Jeep completely ready for the trail again!

Both shafts are Yukon super 30s, And i,m not real happy with them there was very little load on the axle when the first one broke. but they are sending out new ones to replace them for free. I will most likely use them for spares and replace them with Alloy brand.

Should've known by looking at the one that they were Yukon's. You aren't the first or last that will make those comments about their shafts. Great gears would never recommend anyone else's, but shafts are no bueno. You'll like the Alloys much better.
