gonna try and rebuild it

ok so I have had my wrecked CJ for sale for awhile now with not much Luck. My boyfriend got bitten by the jeep bug (he enjoys driving my YJ from time to time) now he wants to "Buy" it from me and fix it for a toy. It should be fun (hopefully) We haven't had much experience working on vehicles but are not afraid to learn as we go!!! Wish us luck jeepers!! will take any hints. looking for parts now. have axles but need body parts and a radiator!!

you could make up some tube fenders and cage the front end
body parts are for squares

EDIT: and comp cut that rear so you got more room to flex

well a buddy has me a pair of axles(ford I think) with lockers already installed on them for 200. the boyfriend wants it to be street legal as well as for fun. we dont do much rockcrawling maybe a muddy trail or something but nothing to extreme. I cant afford the repair bills as it is ha ha

how bout black and orange?

and i still vote for some tube fenders(with flares to keep it legal) and trimming up the rear to give those 38s more room(and flares can be made for that ) get him a weldor for his b day and watch him go nuts

dunno about the welder but my boss has one(mig) I think it has a tank and a charger thingie..I dont go near the dang thing, his son is certified in body work but is as erliable as a pst druggie can be...he is "artistic" ha ha which means he doesnt ever finish anything. anyway orange and black would totally rock..guess seat covers would have to come in as well. seats are blue vinyl

A little paint, elbow grease and some heart...should turn out great. Good luck with it. I would be interested to see the finished result.

Wow! She took a tumble eh??? That'll be a fun project, make sure the frame is not bent before you put to much money into 'er. If the frame is wopped out, you'll have a hard time getting things to allign right, tires 'el wear faster, may drag or dogtrack, etc...

yeah I flipped her twice and landed upside down in the median of a highway, my really really stupid dumb a$$ reached for my phone which fell of into the floor, tire went off the highway and overcorrected , the tires caught the lip of the pavement, and thats all it took, had time to tuck the body and say well sh%#. and the frame isnt bent, just the radiator support which isnt that big of a deal or so I am told, my heavy steel bumpers saved the frame(have them on all four sides) Highly recomend them now. and I like orange and black may do it to both jeeps! go POKES!!!(OSU)

Orange and green would be the Miami Hurricanes.
Green and Yellow would be the Oregon Ducks
Orange and Blue is the Syracuse Orange

If you're not doing the Dukes theme (complete with jean shorts) then stay away from orange... Auburn, Clemson, Tennessee, Miami, Virginia... yuck.
