Man that was a good video I hope the rider was okay, he was so close to the top within feet. That was a good video of how tough the camera is, and that the human body can slide a long ways down a mountain of snow!

Thanks BB! We will def see you out this fall!

As promised, here is my video. Its a shame youtube practically kills the "HD" ness of the video but you get the idea. Its so much clearer on playback from the harddrive. Ageless can attest to that..!

Gosh dern'! Well shucks I just sound like a good ole boy haha. Forgive the wack talking in the beginning.

Heres the first race, its just a clip coming off of a yellow and into a full on sprint. I clipped him doing about 25 and hit the wall head on. Left my neck sore and bruised my ribs and collar bone for a week, I got stuck under the guard bumper lol! Was fun though

Where's that $100 price? I'd pick one up for that!

We're a bit backed up with traveling' and stuff, plus needed to do some boring tonneau cover installs first.

But it's coming!

This isn't with the GoPro as I didn't have one at the time.

I wonder if attaching a GoPro to the side mirror would allow a similar angle without all the shaking and angle changes.

I actually just ordered a GoPro. So I may be putting up some test videos within a couple weeks.

I was a little ticked that I missed the $100 price I saw at JeepBeach for them. That was probably for the 960. I was able to get the 1080 one for $150 though, so I talked myself into that. I think it's the helmet version, but i think it also comes with other mounts that I can use for the Jeep. And if not, then I'll pick up another mount or 2.

I know I'll need an SD card and I might find value in the LCD backpack, so I'll need to look into those too.

Hey guys. I just got my GoPro. Is there any decent free or inexpensive editing software out there?

Where did you purchase your's at? GoPro's website? I was finding em' for like 300 bucks for the package! Did you mix and match different stuff and just not go with the package?

I got it off of Amazon. The different types seem to bounce between $250 & $300 independently. I caught one at $250 at the same time as Amazon was offering $100 off a purchase if you singed up for a year subscription for Audible.com. I was already paying for month-to-month access for it anyway, so that was logical.

I would suggest watching Amazon and be ready to pounce. Good luck!

I also invested in the suction cup mount. So far that's the only mount that I've used. The sticky mounts seem to be either permanent or that they'd lose their stickiness from multiple uses. I just want to be positive of the location before sticking one on my Jeep. I'd like to see an attachment point that can attach at one of the many bolt locations.

I picked up my GoPro HD Hero Motorsports for $220 shipped from overstock.com

Just signed up for the O.com emailer or whatever and it gave me an extra 10 or 15% off.
