Got Some Curious Looks Yesterday....

Driving home from the feed store:





I had a couple 80# bags of pellets in the back too, LOL.


Baby Jeep did good. I bought the rack to haul snowboards, and figured a bale of hay would be a good proof test. It's a $69 Harbor Freight "Haul Master" brand carrier. It's to low to be useful for offroading.








My future plan is to buy a receiver draw bar with a 6"-8" drop, like this:




Invert it, and weld it to the carrier rack. That'll raise it off the ground enough for 4x4 expeditions.


It shouldn't take more than a few minutes at home with a grinder, a trip to the fab shop with $20 for a good ol' boy with a welder, and some black Krylon to finish it off.

Good idea, just won't be able to open the rear unless you take the whole thing off.
