^^^ I'll join you!!!

Just waiting for it to dry so i can wipe the dust off and see how uniform the coat is...

The 2nd pic looks like its bad at the bottom, but its the angle i took the pic since the paint was wet (had just finished)

I'll have some "finished" pics in a bit

From what i read before doin this, Krylon Fusion was the top choice so i used

Krylon Fusion: Satin Black

I have it done and i love how it turned out.

I'll post pics tomorrow though because i just put the top on and its getting dark so it wouldnt do much good to take the pic now

wiped it down with a mix of water and dish soap...dried it...wiped it down with simple green...dried it...wiped it off once more with a dry cloth...then sprayed it.

I did lightly sand the front portion of my top, didn't do the rear, and didn't notice any difference at all.

I'll post pics of it tomorrow though...turned out well!

I did however, drop the front portion of my top onto the rear by accident n scratched it already lol. I resprayed that part and you cant tell, just thought id mention it!

Must be painting day. I painted my locking gas cap yesterday. Can says flat black but dried with a little bit of shine. 3 coats looks a lot better without rust and whatever else was on it. Better than spending 100$ for a new one. Bought it that way. Color matches with black inside cover so I'm happy! Only thing is I scratched both upper doors when I took off hardtop last weekend. Used my wench in garage that I built and hard edges of hardtop did it. Any ideas to repair this or put something over it so it doesn't happen again?
