Home Made Tire Carrier

I am thinking of building a tire carrier to hold a 33 tire for my Warn rear bumper. It's not the one that holds the tire carries so basically I will have to drill holes and weld. I don't feel like spending $300-$400 for steel tubes.

Anyway have any pics and ideas please post them..

Thanks

Arguing with a truck driver is like wrestling with a pig in mud, eventually you realize the pig enjoys it.

I was working up in Sacramento. There was a truck customizing shop that did a lot of Hummers. In the pimping process they remove the tire carrier. I modified it to the jeep wheel bolt pattern. I got the carrier and spare tire for $125 then sold the tire which paid for the carrier.

Not an option for everyone but it worked for me.
