How about some damage pics?

We own Jeeps and over time they either get brush rash or a dent or two over time, let's see yours! It's not damage it's character and a story!

Well let's see. It was repaired crappily and ground down and painted over. I had no idea. I took it out wheeling at Evans creek. And we noticed it was sitting funny. That's when we saw it. Good thing we were done for the day. Had to get it towed home.

Man that sucks, sounds like it must have been a huge pain to fix.

A couple jacks some steel and a welder. We got it fixed up. Pain in the ass though since it was the first time out in it since I bought it in Feb.

I cracked the axle casing in the silliest way. We basically hadn't planned on doing any wheeling, but pulled off a small gravel road and there was a large water run off that the front end just fell into. It came out of no where, and we were going super slow. I suspect that it may have had some stress put on it before I got the Jeep because I had only bought it about a month prior.

Damage after almost 1 year with frequent off-road driving in a stock 2011 JK Sport:

Dueler H/T tires with bad damage after about 22,000 km. This is one of many chunks missing. Due to frequent driving over rough areas with rocks/sand in heat. Replaced with Hankook ATM.

The export bumper has a thing going down for the license plate, reducing clearance. It catches sand dunes all the time.

Finally the outward force pulled off the plastic thing from the bumper.

I cut off the license plate thing and riveted the plate to the bumper. This is temporary. I'll replace it with the US version of the stock bumper, as it doesn't have anything hanging down and should function well in sand and small rocks (our landscape). If there is another bumper of similar weight/price/coverage, let me know.

Both bumpers were dented many times, but pop themselves into shape overnight.

Clock spring was replaced.

Last weekend at Jeep Fest I blew my passenger rear shock and pulled my tail pipe off the hanger thanks to a sapling and pulled a lug off my tire
