I'd rather see your pets

Here's my Sebastian. He is a Toy Fox Terrier.

I have 4 Min-pins

Here is our oldest male, hes going on 8 years now. He has been riding shotgun in my jeep as of late.

We now have one more to add to our herd. I'll fill you guys in on her story. About four weeks ago this sweet little puppy was stuck in a trash bag with some bread and thrown over a fence where my parents were staying while they were working out of town. From what we can tell she is a beagle mix, we havent figured out what the other breed is just yet.

I would love to keep her but it will be hard to keep a 5th dog in the home. If we cant find her a home soon I guess she will have to take cujos spot at riding shotgun in my jeep.

Shes about 7 weeks old now

WoW! Thats a good looking female, we have three females and the one stud (cujo). Did you ever breed her?

our min pins are very unique looking compared to most other min pins for some reason. Very cool to see another min pin owner, talk about a small world.

Another one of angel, I like to call her nibler tho!

nope. never bred. she was actually a stray that deverhart's wife was able to coerce into getting close to her after like 5 hours in a parking lot. when i had her, she weighed about 17lbs. and she had an attitude like no other dog ive ever had and more energy to boot. fantastic dog tho. now she's up to about 22 lbs and cant just like she used to!!!

Yea, min pins are notorious for having an attitude and being very hard to train. We gave one of our pups away to my cousin who can train just about any dog. He trained her to do hand stands on the walls. He would stick her hind legs up on the wall and she would stay like that till he called her. Amazing what they can do when trained right.

she was extremely intelligent, no doubt and definitely needed something to keep her occupied. but you give her 1 inch and she'll take 100 miles. the things she does and has learned to do all on her own with my mom are just absolutely hilarious. she does this silent bark to get attention(where she just pretends to bark but no sound comes out). she'll guard food or treats(my mom has 2 other dogs). she wont get into the bag of treats, but she'll lay there and if either other dog comes near, she'll growl just a little.

LoL, our male cujo does that also with food/treats. He will bark at us to come near his food so that he can growl at us when we get near. He just loves to defend his bowl for some reason, it blows my mind. It his way of playing, he likes to be the only one to eat out of it also. The three girls will grab a mouth full of food and take it to the living room and eat it because he growls at them if they try to sit and eat with him.

Best part is the puppy is so fearless he growls and growls but she will stick her little head in there and eat away. Its so funny seeing her sticking up to him because hes so much bigger than her. He wouldent hurt a fly tho, he just puts on a big show.

This is our beagle pup, Cleopatra, a few years back.

This is our rescue min pin, Nitro. My mom picked him up at the pound she was volunteering at. Really irks me that people throw away the best dogs. He loves to cuddle and hug. Sweetest dog I've ever had.

Here is a pic of Cleo and our other min pin Harley. He is the product of my moms dogs Cujo and Bebe.

Here's the brood at Christmas. Bunch of spoiled baby's. Cleo doesn't care much for min pins. Too much energy.

They're devil dogs ganging up on my Cleopatra like that.

They aren't to bad when they are asleep though.

Good blood I guess. Him and Harley are the biggest Min Pins I have ever seen. Harley is pure blood, I think Nitro is also and they about the same size as our Beagle minus the heavy build.

I call Nitro Bat dog because his ears make him look like a bat

But Yes they are both Minature Pinchers but very large ones. I don't know if I would like one of those tea cup size ones. I would be afraid I would hurt it.

Yea, like I said earlier for some reason our min pins are very unique compared to most other's.

Odhinn's Harley is a rare offspring of Cujo(our oldest male). Most of the time that all fawn color will die off at birth, but he survived. And is a beast of a animal, just like Nitro.

Nitro is also a unique case, he is also very unique compared to other min pins. When my mother and I picked him up from the pound they were about to put him down, he prolly weighed 8-9 pounds and was on the verge of death. Who ever had him before us, really mentally and phsycially abused this poor animal. His hip and left leg have been broken afew times from what we can tell. No telling what kind of mental abuse hes suffered.

Odhinn and OC, took over taking care of him few years back and have done a great job with him. He used to be real chunky and liked to lay around. Now hes fit and has lost a few pounds. He runs a lot more now and seems like he doesn't even notice his bad leg/hip.

This dog can cuddle like none other!

Close, Jack is 1/2 American Standard Poodle and 1/2 Wire Hair Terrier. He has the brains of a poodle and the tenacity of a terrier. Not a good mix. On the plus side, he has hair, not fur, so he dosen't shed. He loves playing in water. We were up in the Sierras one year and he decided to swim out to a a chunk of ice that was floating in the water.

Is it? I don't think I've ever seen a standard poodle without the foofy haircut.

Ahh, a mix. Still a good looking dog.
How far down stream did he float before he swam back?
