Jeep trailer, let's see em!! Whatcha got?

I have a slight trailer fetish, and really like pulling a trailer for some sick reason. I have had 2, but now they are gone. So.....I plan to get another one. Hers' a pic of my previous Wrangler pulling my Last trailer.

Cheers!!

I would like to see some made from a Jeep tub to match what you drive.

Thats cool Doug. Our local rescue squad uses a trailer like that for a generator. I would like one built from a 94 YJ like mine, red and wheels to match. And yes awsome shop.

Hey Gonzo, cool video but do i need to go to all that trouble.I wonder if you can use the existing axle just cut away the brake system. As far as the tub just modify the front part of the tub with some metal. Of course use the stock suspension, wire the stock brake light system. And so on would that work.

I have seen some like you say, but just adding the metal to the front leaves a gap in the floor where it drops for the front seats. It works, but I like the joining of 2 tubs better. Here's a pic of one like that that I wanted to check out, but was too far from me. (VANCOUVER I THINK) LOOKS COOL, AND A LITTLE LONGER THAN THE 2 TUBS.Click image for larger version

Craigslist find

Found these 2 on craigslist, but too far for me and kinda pricey, they seem pretty nice.

I really like the red one because the rims match my wheels, except, I have 16" wheels.

Been building this one for a friend in my shop last few months off and on.

its a M416 military trailer from the 50's.

We built a new frame and suspension. Running 37's and JK Moab wheels. Still need to cut in the Willys tailgate, the slide out kitchen, build a Hard Tonue cover and mount the roof top tent.

Sometimes places that sell new trailers sell used ones that have been traded in. Had a great one that would have worked well with my trike, but only Harleys go on a trailer. They also might have some small ones. We have 2 small ones, will have to see if they will plug into the Jeep. Just a thought.

after seeing this im set on making one for my jeep by this summer!

im already looking for a tub right now.

i just have some questions on what i should get from the jeep.

is it better to use the frame, rear end, and suspension from the jeep or is it better to make a frame and everything like on that video?

im looking to spend as little money as possible so yeah
