Just got my 2095 LJ back today. 3.5" Rubicon Express Super-Flex Short Arm Lift Kit, RE Shocks, Quick Disconnects for the Sway Bar, Upper & Lower Control Arms, Steering Stabilizer, Adjustable Track Bar, and BF Goodrich 33"x12.50"x15" All-Terrain Tires to complete the package. Here's a few pics. I still have a ton of work to do. But I'm ready for next weekend at Yellow Jacket.

Very nice! I have the RE 4.5 with 35's... Even thou lots of people don't like the RE's, I have had now problems at all...

I think the majority of people who don't like the RE are just jealous. Lol. Unless they're running something like a currie.

Looks great except for the milk jugs on the bent bumper that are pointing up. I would get rid of them and run without them until you get a new bumper.

And how did you get ahold of a 2095 Wrangler? I have to know your secret. Maybe you can pick some Lotto numbers for me! lol

Yeah, 2095. Oops. Lol. '05. I'm thinking of just cutting down the bumper a little. Make it a stubby. Better approach angle I guess. Lol. Thanks.

Yep, cut the ends off at an angle. It will look great, especially with your new lift and tires. I ran my stock bumper for a long time like that.

Right on. Thanks for the advice. So, gears and lockers next, or bumpers and winch? I'm thinking ARB's and 4.10's. Function over Form, right?

If it has the 4sp auto tranny with OD (42rle), you will want 4.88's. With a manual tranny I believe 4.56 gears are recommended with 33" tires.

It's a toss up on what to do next. I bought a winch before axle, gears, and locker. You are lucky to start with a D44 in the rear with your LJ. I was not so lucky. lol

Looks like 4.88's it is then. It's got the auto. And the winch may be the next item. Def costs less than the other mods.

Cost is a big factor. One thing to remember if a locker/lockers are in your future, do the gears and lockers at the same time. That way you will save the cost of having the gears re-set again if you buy a full case selectable locker. (ARB, OX) Which would be recommended at least for the rear. You can throw an autolocker up front without having to mess with the gears. (Aussie, Spartan).

I got by for awhile with my stock 3.73 gears and 33's. I just hit the OD "off" button every time I started it. It was the steep downhill slippery trails where I was truly lacking with the wrong gears. 4lo was just not low enough!

I plan on doing it in one shot when I'm ready. But yeah, right now the cost is the only holdup on gears and lockers. Probably just get the winch for now. Especially since I do stupid stuff like wheel alone a lot. Thanks for the input.
