LOL.....hot one! Let's just put it like this... I pulled the vent things out, soaked em in a bucket, scrubbed them as best I could and wiped out the vents themselves and there's still mud in the vent cover things.... I can not get it out, as well as all around the windshield at the corners of the dash..... Not to mention the roll bar pads....

From what I understand, the stock APEX model Wrangler's seats were supposed to be something a little more weather resistant; I heard APEX models didn't come with tops. So, perhaps they're just a heavier vinyl. I think they look pretty cool, though. Almost look like leather, from a distance.

We can't wait for summer to return. I just realized I have to take more pics. I guess D. always has the camera, don't have a single one of her in her JK topless.

Thanks, man. Yeah, me neither. The hood has a big silver graphic with the namesake included. I think it was a model right below (or, before) the "X". That said, it's been a lot of fun these past 2 (almost 3) years of ownership. A very reliable rig - it generally sits, waiting for us to come and use it, at 6,500' ASL. Always starts right up. These buggies are a great deal of fun, especially with the roof and doors off. However, time to put the hard-top back on and bring it back up to the pines. It's f'n cold up in Prescott.

Happy New Year.

^^^^

It's no big deal with the top. I run a softy in the summer and the hard one in the winter. It's strictly a toy. We keep it up at our mountain house and mostly use it up there. It's currently down in the desert for some extra fun.

How do you like those soft doors? Do you also have the uppers? I'm thinking of buying some and was curious.

I do have the uppers too and I like 'em. They're great during the summer when I take the full doors off. I had to mess with the uppers to get them to slide into the lowers smoothly, but nothing a little sandpaper couldn't handle.
