Very cool. I've been going out of Morro Bay for about a year and a half. Did pretty well with them. Dont ever remember having bags that big though.

Not long. Maybe 5 minutes...it's on a monopod in that picture. Usually just carry it with the monopod attached, then extend it when I need to use the lens. I think the only time I've ever had that lens on a tripod was for creating blur of fast-moving objects with low shutter speeds.

Football, baseball, wildlife, etc...I use the monopod.
