They measure 31.5 because they're only 10.5 wide im guessing, I have a friend that has the same tires as me but 12.5 wide and they measure alottt closer. Im getting some duratracs soon enough 12.5 so those should be good.

Also, why do you have a carabiner in your bumper eye instead of a shackle?

Im a technical mountain climber and guide sometimes, i also have lotsa rescue gear; and well you use steel carabiners in rescues instead of aluminum its stronger than most shackles you'll ever find id be willing to hang 4 jeeps vertical and i wouldnt fret about that bad boy breakin

They're rated at 8-10,000 lbs?

Sumunabish!

*edit*
I gotta say, that I thought you were blowing smoke up my dress so just for tickles and grins I Googled "steel carabiner load limit"

I actually learned something. They make them pretty doggone heavy duty. I didn't read all of the info that came up but a quick scroll revealed some at 11k breaking limit.

But I'll stick to shackles just the same.
