You're Jeep is already bigger than mine will most likely ever be. I'm just saying it looks funny stock because I never saw it that way.

My Jeep is just a baby Jeep.
It's all I can do to get my fat tail in it now!

I gotta say, that I thought you were blowing smoke up my dress so just for tickles and grins I Googled "steel carabiner load limit"

I actually learned something. They make them pretty doggone heavy duty. I didn't read all of the info that came up but a quick scroll revealed some at 11k breaking limit.

But I'll stick to shackles just the same.
Yepp not pullin your leg if i were to be as legit as possible though i would have to say it can withstand a maximum force of 50,000 newtons

Oh thanks guys, in the PNW here Jeepin' is a way of life for me and my friends, I feel very lucky to be in such an area. The trails change constantly through the seasons from dry and dusty to rain/muddy to snow - it keeps things fresh. If you all make it up here look me up and I'll show you some trails.

The last picture in my above post is in Moab, which is unfortunately about 1,200 miles away. That is also an extremely fun (and very different than the PNW) place!

Haha, I didnt see if yours was a sahara but I saw the other guys was. they are gorgeous

I know, I didnt know how to do alot of thinngs back then^

I was just out on a mountain trail in the fresh snow, and stumbled upon some big rocks... tooo bad I couldnt get any traction to climb the SOBS.

I also found two half tread 265/75/r16 tires sittin in the woods, 50% tread if anyone wants them! mine are r15
