Rainy season down here, I run it because I need it. Had a Grand Cherokee float at a crossing couple rides ago. I run the ARB, pretty sturdy and just pop the top off for tight trails and vine areas.

Pics from some of our trail crossing points down here. 2nd one is old pic of mine.

Stock air box seal up the intake part make a new hole on the side towards the engine run tubing from there threw a hole in the fire wall in to the cowl and out the top with a tractor breather cap on top. U can also make a extension pipe so you can raise it when ever u want. Its a lot to type but that's the quick way.

whats your opinion on this guys, I want a snorkel setup but i don't know how much ill need it on the trails,i mostly want it because i live in a coastal area where it floods a lot so i thought it would be good lean back on,and i love the way it looks,any-hows would that make me too much of a poser? because it is my DD

Just extend your breather lines for the differentials and stuff too and you'll have a good reason for the snorkel and be prepared for flooded areas. And you won't be a poser.

Ok I understand the whole extend breather tube thing....kinda. But if you plan on having water over your hood line. Wouldn't breather extensions thus become useless anyways

I think you can do the transmission too. Not sure though. I haven't done it, nor do I have a snorkel. They do look BA however.

I've seen the lines extended all the way to right under the hood. I'm not sure if you could go higher or not. You're gonna have to waterproof a whole lot of stuff if you are going to have water over the hood line anyways. That's a good question though.
