Thanks for lookin out for me....

But the door surrounds were off that day cause she just got a fresh waxing. I got rid of anything that was textured black plastic, and taped off the flares, cause ya get wax on them, it wont come off.

Thanks
Tyler

I realize this is slightly off-topic but I waxed my 04 lj the other day with Ice wax(I think it's made by Turtle Wax) It doesn't leave the white residue if you hit black plastic. Dries clear. I was really happy with the results.

How does the LJ do towing that rig? I would really like to get something similar to tow with my LJ.... Just concerned with how well it will handle that kind of load. What does that trailer weigh?

I'd like to hear your experience too. I'm actually in the process of buying a camper to tow with my LJ. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

And, since I haven't yet contributed to this thread... Here's my 04. Stock at this point save a few minor things. Long list of to-do's. After reading this thread, I'm considering dumping my plans for a lift and going straight to MetalCloak's and 35s! If anyone wants to donate...

I love my Khaki, but those orange LJ's sure look great!

Dumped the old 33" BFG's (285's) and returned to stock size 245 Duratracs a few weeks ago. Very pleased with them!

UpTheCreek:

Ive really taken a fancy to that rock bumper on the front of your LJ. I can see it is made by Warn. Any idea what the part number is, or any other ID? Quadratec catalog has me confused, and I cant tell for sure if I am looking at the same bumper or not. Is it just a standard rock crawler bumper without a winch mount or what?

Hey thanks
Tyler

I answered your PM, but for the rest, yes, it's the standard Rock Crawler like this one: Bumper

Hey, no worries. Just trying to keep a fellow jeeper from spending money on unnecessary repairs. Nice jeep by the way. I wanted a jeep that color but only found a black one when I was ready to buy.
