My latest purchase. A Smith and Wesson E-Series -1911 with crimson trace grips.

I'm a Sig guy but this S&W is nice.

Unfortunately all my guns were lost in a tragic boating accident.

Looks nice! I was going to get a 220 but I've already got 4 sig P-Series firearms. Wanted to try something different so I went with the classic 1911 for my .45.

I had a Sig 1911 Match Elite 2-Tone and sold it... Liked the 220 better. I believe there is a double stack 227 available now. Have an OD Green HK45 on order so I'll be stocked up on 45's.

Thanks! I just got it last week. I haven't even fired it yet, but I did sight in my AK after I installed the Tech Sights rear sight and the smaller front sight post. And I also shot my P226 Tacops with my 11 year old son. He loves that pistol as much as I do, if not more.

Yeah Sig has really expanded there lineup of the last 4 or 5 years. The 227 looks nice. I have a P238 for summer carry and as soon as I bought it they came out with the P938; which I'd like to get BUT it's not Mass Compliant. My state sucks!

Handguns are really just range toys here. Makes me angry talking about the BS laws here, but that's the way it's been for years. Almost all concealed carry applications are denied. So when you think you got it tough, there is always somewhere else tougher than where you are.

I had a P239 that I liked, would love to get a P232 but there isn't a Canadian legal barrel available. I'm getting depressed now If I ever win the lottery, I'll be retiring in the USA.

I'm sorry about your dilemma. Surprisingly our Supreme Court (well at least the majority of it) correctly identified our 2nd amendment as an individual right not long ago, but that could change in the future if our (joke of a ) president gets to appoint any more liberal loons to the court. It's funny here in America, precedent in the American justice system only seems to go as far back as the last favorable liberal ruling. A few more liberals get on the court and I wouldn't be surprised to see a new ruling on the 2nd Amendment Liberals will call the Heller and McDonald decisions "bad law", unlike the Roe v. Wade ruling: that is carved in stone. Precedent on abortion only goes back to 1972, nothing from 1789 to 1971 counts. I can see the same thing happening with 2nd amendment.

Oooo... I just found the gun pics thread! I love me some gun porn! Here are a few of mine:

300 BLK SBR on the left with a Spike's Tactical MRS-2 suppressor. DDLES 9mm SBR on the right with a YHM WRAITH QD suppressor.

Couple misc ARs. 18" 6.5 Grendel in the front, 14.5" 5.56 NATO in the back. I've since changed up the Grendel a bit. It now looks like this:

The wife and kiddo needed their own ARs, so I built them these 14.5" lightweights:

One of my latest projects, an M&P 9 with some slide work and an RMR:

And the same one again with its M&P 22 little brother.

The 22 is wearing a Thompson Machine Zephyr XL, the 9 has a Gemtech Multimount.

I could literally go on-and-on for pages, but I'll stop there for now. And yes, that red couch is in the basement/family room right next to the gun safes, so it gets used as a backdrop for quite a few gun pictures.

Okay... Two more pics and then I'll stop!

Mrs. Hooz shooting the suppressed M&P 9:

And 'lil Hoozette shooting her Glock 19:

Shooting is a family thing for us. My wife and daughter each have their own ARs (both .22 and 5.56) and their own handguns (they're Glock girls ).

Actually, 2-pin Gen 2 Glocks don't have finger grooves or a rail.

There is the mythical Gen 2.5, though. It was a half-step in between Gens 2 and 3. It had the finger grooves with no texture in between, but it had no light rail. The texturing and rail came when they made the full jump to the Gen 3.

I like my 1911s, M&Ps, XDs, etc, but I am a Glock Geek.

Yes your correct, not sure why I said that. Speaking of old glocks, here's a rare one for ya

Beautiful. I wish we could have sbr's in MI. My blackout is gonna be really long with a 16in barrel and a silencer.

You don't need to shoot that AR. You can just use it to reach out and poke the bad guy in the eye.

You don't know how right you are! I have the endcap on the can in that picture. If I took the cap off, the end would look like this:

Getting poked with that thing would certainly ruin your day!

Seriously, though. It's a 20" barrel, so it's not that long. The reflex setup of the suppressor only adds about 4" to the overall length even though the suppressor itself is ~7" long. The first few inches of the can actually cover the last few inches of the barrel. You can see it a bit better if I do this:

Nice M&P, sadly I don't like mine enough to do that to it tho... haha

Sucks at feeding hollow points...
