Trading in the wife's 2000 Neon tomorrow for a 2009 Toyota Tacoma double cab with the SR5 package. Wife wanted a truck and I think Toyota makes a good one. More importantly - she loves it.

Pics soon.

Just AutoX. There are no tracks in less than 5 hrs drive from here. (there's nothing here )

It is the most fantastic handling car I've ever driven. Its hilarious on the AutoX in my 350z I had to slow down for turns that in the Elise, I just turn the wheel, and its there....no slowing down, no screaming tires, just gone. I love that car. (not in the disturbing way....well maybe a little)

After looking at all of your nice cars, I'm embarrased to show my $hi*box. But here it is, my weekend driver that I'm having a trunk full of problems with.

First time I've heard a 'Vette called a S-box.

Sweet car man, be proud of what you got!

Ahh, but you don't understand what an '84 Vette can do to a man.

He used to have a full head of hair....

... and then he got an 84 vette.

It's the only year of the C4 body with the crossfire engine. And since chevy doesn't make parts for it, and it's a one year only there's not a good source for parts that I've found. So it just runs like crap and leaves me walking 3/4 times I drive it. I need to throw the whole x-fire crap away and drop in a 383 stroker that's carbed but, I lost my job. Thanks Obama.

So it's in the garage, not running, and just taking up space.

Don't have her anymore....

I had one of these in high school..... I was a good student, made straight A's and this was a gift as a senior....

It was dogged out when I got it... dad and I spent many nights restoring it in the garage.... unfortunately it was wrecked (no i wasn't hotrodding... got rearended at a light)

The important stuff after the work:
matching #s
350, bored 30 over and ballanced/blueprinted

2001 Durango SLT
Has the 5.9L Engine, AWD T-Case
221 000km on the clock, runs like a CHAMP. For an SUV it holds onto the road pretty decently IMO.

Has the rims off a 2000, painted brakes, debadged on the sides, 14inch round x 2.5inch tall k&n air filter, 52mm throttlebody (stock is 50mm tapered down to 48 with air horns), 3"x18"long stainless steel exhaust tip.

I love her. She's been my daily driver for the psat 16 months but she's going back to my parents in a couple of weeks. I'll miss her and all her fully loaded goodness. I could post more pics because I've got a ton but this one really shows off her beauty. She's not in rough shape but she's not show room condition either. 220 000km, 8 years old, she's got some wear and tear!!

She doesn't have a 5.9L for nothing!! For a time period, my mom had a 4.7L(thats where the '00 rims came from) while my step dad had this 5.9L. Eventually the 4.7L was sold, I moved back home for a year from uni and used the 5.9L to commute. We kept the 5.9L even though it had some 40 000km more on it at the time because of the 5.9L
