My 2012 Orange Crush JK

I just picked it up tonight. Had to wait for about 2 weeks until they found me what I wanted in that color. Its basically a base model with the exception of Sirius radio and A/C. Im going to keep it relatively stock. Probably just put wheels and 31"s on it.

Can anybody tell me if I can run 31"s on this in stock form? I basically dont know a whole lot about Jeeps because Ive always been a Ranger guy. Im going to be using this as my daily driver and Im finally going to put the Superlift on my ranger (its only been in my shed for 6 months now lol)

Anyways, onto the pics:

nice looking jeep! congrats! yea you can run 31's (someone correct me if im wrong) the Sport S comes stock with 32's and those would bolt right up. The suspension from the sport and sport s is the same. only differences are power options and aluminum 17 inch wheels and bigger tires. I just got mine about a week ago and absolutely love it! enjoy!

Diggin that color. Always liked orange & black. FYI, if you drop tire size by an inch you will lose .5" of clearance & Will run a bit higher rpms, (which isn't always a bad thing)

Very nice lookin jeep, will def turn some heads!

he'd be going up in size, Im not sure what size tires come on the base model wranglers, but whatever they are are pretty small. IMO id just look for someone getting rid of their stock aluminum wheels and tires and run with them. otherwise check out discount tire (I think you get a discount for being on here)

Didn't know JK's ever came with 29 or 30 inch tires.

base tires I think are like 21 inches or so. Maybe smaller like 18 or 19.

225/75/R16

Which equals out to about 29"x8.5" lol

Id wanna go with a 16x8 wheel with a 31"x10.5" tire for now
