I noticed two things about the picture you posted. One is the fact that there is way too much traffic on that road. Second is you are a hotty. The dog is cute too.

I agree with KTM. My dog loves to ride. I just hook her onto the seatbelt and she does fine

We were on a major 4 lane highway on our way to see the BF in Tulsa. It was great, jeep did the speed limit (75) i am assuming-the spedo doesnt work and even passed people, may have been speeding who knows who cares it was a great trip with the pup, nothing like a breeze going up your dress at 75 mph ha ha ha

I see all this beautiful country where some of you live and it makes me envious. Don't get me wrong, California is beautiful too. I just hate all the traffic and B.S. that we have to put up with. My wife and I want to get out of here in a few years, once my son is older. Not sure where to go so we keep looking around.

It could be different for you but yes. Bonus points for the green cap though. It's even more intense.

C'mon now Strip the old girl down and run in the wind.

Yes it is hot here in Houston but nothing better than than taking off the doors, and the top and heading down to Galveston Island for the day.

Peace

I want to find or create a padded something that fits right in the lower door hinge that I can use for a place to kick my leg out while driving with out the doors on

hmm think you would have to fabricate it. my legs arent that long so it just rest perfectly on the step guard and fender.

Rooney would go nuts at the beach, he already goes nuts over minnows couldn't image throwing in waves, sea gulls, crabs and shells, maybe next year if the beaches open back up in the gulf we can take him

I've read in several threads where folks want to take the steps (running boards) off the Saharas cuz they look...lame.

But if I do that.....where will my foot go when I am running doorless.

I've discovered that doorless is the vehicular version of going "commando".

Quite...refreshing.

And since I just discovered cargo-shorts....all the better 8D

But with no step, your foot just kinda flops around out there...and that gets old pretty quick.

I concur and I do not think my step is lame, plus I am kinda short so it helps me get in and out especially with a skirt or dress on
