My co-Pilot

Took our first road trip together..it was only an hour drive but it was our first together with the doors and top off. I must say he enjoyed it even tho it was a little stressful and I dont do self pics very well. Plus I have a hole in the bottom of my gas tank and no gauges that work except my tach makes for interesting travel. no death wobble at high speeds and no overheating. all in all a good trip!!

he loved it especially when we would pass an interesting dead smell yuck. couple times he did get scared by a noisy truck and try to climb in my lap. but he is still just a pup. going to be interesting when he is grown. he is only 4 months old and already doubled in size in the month we have had him. not sure what he is except adorable mutt

TX is even hotter, especially Houston, I couldn't even stand to have the top down for a daily commute. Although to the beach and fun trips it's bareable I love my a/c, but then again, I have to wear pants to work and I'm from IN, so it's a bit hot for me.

That's awesome! I usually keep my pup in the back seat if the top and door are off and then I even get worried. I know I could leash him to the seat but I'd still get nervous. especially since he's a 100lb lab.

That's where my Lab sits when the doors are on.

Great pics there Tosh. My dogs also love the Jeep ride with the wind blowing in their faces. Funny, since if I blow in their face they seem to not enjoy that as much.

I know dogs are weird that way. no he loves the jeep. Had a rott that fell out of the front seat one time when I hit a bump. scary and funny. she never would sit up front again. Anyways, no not moving to Texas, the bf didnt take the coaching job so we are here at least for another year.
I have a d-ring in the middle of my back seat that I need to rig him up to soon, was just too lazy on that trip

Love the pics. I'll have to get one of my dane and greyhound in the back of my TJ this weekend - although it's a cold, rainy winter down here at the moment....

How in the hell do you fit a Dane and a greyhound in the back of a TJ? I didn't even think a Great Dane could fit in by himself with all the seats removed.

Never felt good about having my pit in the front seat with doors off. Did you have him tied down at all? My bull terrier would do perfect cause she is really shy. The heat in this area has been HORRIBLE the last week huh? BTW, you're way hotter than I thought!

Here's my Pit mix, His name is Cooper, Coop or most of the time Scoops.

I had two leashes on him one was around the 4x4 gear shift and the other was in my hand or in my center console. He is just a pup so I think I can get him trained to stay put he is smart as hell. I think he is a collie mix but I have seen some pit mixes that look similar as well. who knows. and thx and yes it has been hot as blue blazes
